Our History

CHSMRI was established in response to the growing need for specialized health science management education in Central Africa. Founded in Yaoundé, Cameroon, the Institute was created with a singular mission: to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and healthcare management, equipping professionals to lead, innovate, and transform health systems.

From its founding, CHSMRI has maintained close partnerships with regional health ministries, international academic institutions, and private healthcare organizations. This collaborative model ensures that its programs remain grounded in real-world challenges and responsive to the evolving demands of the African health landscape.

Today, CHSMRI offers eight specialized BTS programs in health sciences, serving students from across Cameroon and beyond. The Institute is fully accredited by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur (MINESUP) and continues to grow its research output, clinical partnerships, and graduate impact.
