Joseph Gassa is an expert Human Resources and General Operations Director with over 15 years of strategic leadership across multicultural, highly unionized, and multi-country corporate environments in Central and West Africa (notably Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, and Togo). He currently serves as the Administration & HR Manager for the Association Horizons Femmes in Cameroon. Throughout his career, Mr. Gassa has excelled at aligning HR architecture with core business objectives, maintaining seamless labor relations, mitigating legal risks, and optimizing general assets, including procurement, logistics, and infrastructure security.

Mr. Gassa's extensive corporate track record features foundational leadership roles at prominent industrial and consumer goods organizations in Douala. As an Attaché de Direction for the FOKOU Group (including New Foods and Aciéries du Cameroun), he effectively supervised procurement procedures, facility maintenance, and collective bargaining protocols, achieving zero worker strikes during his four-year tenure. Previously, at the Union Camerounaise de Brasseries (UCB), he operated as the Head of the HR Department, overseeing a workforce of over 500 employees, and initially served the brewery as its Head of Legal Affairs and Litigation. He began his professional path in the legal sector as a Legal Analyst at the Sandjou Law Firm.

In addition to his corporate tenures, Mr. Gassa has operated as an Independent HR Consultant, structuring policies and ethical codes for regional clients such as La Congolaise de Congélation and Groupe NZUKO. He is also an active educator, teaching HR Auditing at ISMA, conducting labor law workshops for the International Labour Organization (ILO), and facilitating practical human resources training seminars.

Mr. Gassa holds a Master II in Management with a specialization in Human Resources from the University of Dschang and a Bachelor's degree in Private Law from the University of Yaoundé II (Soa). He also holds advanced professional certifications from USAID, AFD, and UNICEF in project monitoring, financial administration, and investigative misconduct protocols. He speaks fluent French and professional working English.
