Karyom Djim-Adjim-Ngana

Mr. Karyom Djim-Adjim-Ngana is a prominent Cameroonian biomedical scientist and global health leader specializing in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), One Health initiatives, and emergency health risk management. He currently serves as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Medical Research and Medicinal Plant Studies (IMPM) under the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation. Concurrently, he is finalizing his doctoral research as a PhD Candidate in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, as well as a PhD Candidate in Public Health.

An expert in biosecurity and data systems, Mr. Djim-Adjim-Ngana operates as a Technical Advisor for WHO and GIZ programs, recently conducting key health market situational analyses and food safety interventions across Cameroon. His extensive field experience includes directing complex public health monitoring projects funded by international networks like AFROHUN and ISID.

He is the Founder and President of the Organization for Health and Social Action (OSAS) and maintains active academic roles as an Associate Lecturer across multiple medical institutions. He is widely published in international journals on zoonotic pathology and epidemiological resistance. He holds professional membership in the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
