Program Overview
This programme trains professionals to manage communication during health crises and to mobilize communities toward adopting protective behaviors. It combines the principles of strategic communication, rumor and infodemic management, and community engagement techniques to strengthen trust between the health system and the population.
Learning Objectives
Understand the principles and pillars of Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) as defined by WHO.
Develop key messages tailored to different audiences during an epidemic or crisis.
Identify and manage rumors, misinformation, and community resistance.
Design and facilitate community engagement strategies with local leaders, community relays, and media.
Develop communication tools (posters, radio spots, flip charts) and evaluate their impact.
