This programme trains frontline actors to ensure prevention, health promotion, and emergency response within their community. It combines community health strategies (surveillance, awareness-raising, integrated case management) with the essential first-aid actions that save lives while waiting for professional help.

Understand the organization and principles of community health in Cameroon.

Identify priority health issues and lead effective awareness-raising activities.

Carry out community-based surveillance and refer cases to health facilities.

Assemble a first-aid kit and manage an emergency situation within the community.
